Glen Dale Kohn

Dale was born on August 12, 1951, in Mobile, AL. He served for the Mobile County Sheriff’s Department for 26 years before retiring as a homicide detective in 2003. He then worked as a private investigator in Iraq from 2004-2005. He later became a resident of Baldwin County and was living in Elberta, AL, at the time of his passing.

Dale is survived by his mother, Barbara Kohn; four brothers, Leland, Leslie, Donald, and Robin Kohn; one sister, Barbara Darley; three children, Kelly Jordan, Greg Kohn, and Jesi Wilcox; and five grandchildren.

Dale is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Kohn.

Services will be held on December 27, at Radney Funeral Home in Mobile, AL, on Dauphin St. The family will be accepting visitors from noon to 2 p.m. with service immediately following. Mobile County Sheriff's Office Chaplain Ron Pierce will officiate. Burial will be at Wilmer Cemetery, and serving as pallbearers will be Leland Kohn, Leslie Kohn, Donald Kohn, Robin Kohn, Jeremy Kohn, and Clint Chalker.
