Gladys Brown Reeves

Gladys Brown Reeves, 90, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 12, 2023 in Mobile, Alabama. She was born to James Brown Sr. and Grace Scott Brown on June 9, 1933 in Mobile. Gladys was a kind and generous soul – one would never catch her without a smile on her face. She was a devoted member of St. Luke’s for many years. Gladys was very loyal to St. Bridget’s Guild, her bridge club. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Reeves; parents; one brother; and three sisters.

Gladys is survived by her three children, William Treutel (Rita), Stephanie Debalsi (Paul), and Gabrielle Reeves; grandchildren: Brandon Debalsi (Faith Frost), Brianna Debalsi, Philip Treutel (Regan Buchanan), Andrew Treutel, Sarah Treutel, and Reeves Pringle; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023 at 10 a.m. in Pine Crest Cemetery.
