Gina Renee Waszak, age 45 of Mobile, AL, formerly of Beecher, IL passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, October 27, 2022. She was born on July 15, 1977 in Joliet, IL to Walter and Ida (Durkin) Waszak. She is preceded in death by her brother, Walter John Waszak, Jr.
Gina was a loving and devoted mother to her two sons. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend to many. She belonged to the Mobile Chapter of the Harley Hogs where she participated in many fund raising events to include Toys for Tots and the Children's Miracle Network. She was a true sports fan who supported her Chicago Cubs, Blackhawks and Notre Dame football.
Gina leaves to cherish her memory her mother Ida and Herbert Eiskamp, father, Walter J. Waszak and sons, Vincent Carra and Anthony "Tony" Tetrick of Mobile, AL. She is also survived by her brother James (Crystal) Waszak (Zavala), sisters, Patricia Waszak, Christy Waszak Reid (James), Emily Waszak, Amanda (Zirkel) Scott Peterson, Bridgett Waszak Hudson(Jake), brother, Bradley Waszak (Krissy) and Brandon Waszak. Her goddaughter, Samantha Waszak, special friend Michael Parker, twenty-eight nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends survive her.
A memorial visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be held at Skyline Cemetery in Monee, IL from Friday, November 4, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and funeral services on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday.
