George Newton "Cecil" Riley Jr.

George Newton "Cecil" Riley, Jr. - an 82 year-old native of Mackenzie, Alabama and longtime resident of Mobile passed away Friday, January 11, 2013. Mr. Riley was a retired boilermaker and was an 18 year veteran of the United States Army and served in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his wife of 38 years, Lorraine Riley. Mr. Riley is survived by his children, Richard Croy, Rusty Croy, Richard Lee, and Callie Potter; brothers, Willie Riley and Greg Riley (his twin separated by 21 years); 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral home on Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour.
