George William McDuffie Sr.

George William McDuffie, Sr., 80, was born in Mobile, Alabama to the late William B. McDuffie and Alice Delveaux McDuffie. He was called to be with his Lord and savior, Jesus Christ on September 9, 2021 in Semmes, Alabama, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. George was the second of four children. He was employed with Mobile Pulley and Machine Works for 35 years. George loved all sports. He coached his three son's from grade school to high school in football and baseball. George attended Pathway Ministries and was part of the meet and greet committee.

George was preceded in death by his beloved wife of sixty-two years; Vesta Pollard McDuffie; his parents and one brother: Edmund D. McDuffie.

Left to cherish George's precious memories will be his four children: George W. McDuffie, Jr.(Billy) (Katherine), Carmen M. Brannan (Paul), Russell E. McDuffie, Sr. (Lori), Paul D. McDuffie, one sister: Jackie M. Corley (Huey), one brother: Ray W. McDuffie; grandchildren: Elana, Brittany, Russell, Jr., Landon and Andrew, and six great grandchildren: Caden, Will, William(Kye), Emma, Evelyn and Russell, lll(Tripp), along with a host of extended family members and wonderful friends.

A graveside will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 14, 2021 on the grounds of Valhalla Memorial Garden, Eight Mile, Alabama with Pastor Andric Daugherty officiating under the direction of Radney Funeral Home, Mobile, Alabama.
