Corky was a machinist at P & G Machine Shop. He retired after 25 years of teaching Machine Shop from Murphy High School. Corky enjoyed his Domino group and was an avid gun enthusiast.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mildred Elaine Baxter and George Irvin Ensminger, Sr.
Survivors include his wife, Norma Ensminger; his sister, Judy Ensminger (Terry) Delcuze of Pascagoula, MS; four step-children, Leslie Beauvais of Los Angeles, CA, Ross (Melissa) Beauvais of Hattiesburg, MS, Aimee Beauvais (Timothy) Beecroft and Katherine Beauvais Bryant, both of Mobile; step-grandchildren, Stephanie Bryant, Kristina Bryant, Chloe Beauvais, Mikie Beecroft, an Jacob Beauvais; his niece, Jeni (Rev. Lance) Ward of Oklahoma City, OK; great-niece, Haley Ward; great-nephews, Landon Ward and Kyle Ward; other relatives and many friends.
A memorial service will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 4, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
