Fred Wayne Anderson – age 66, born in an army hospital in Frankfurt, Germany, and a longtime resident of Theodore, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 30, 2022. He was employed with the IT department of Mobile Infirmary for over 40 years. Mr. Anderson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Theodore, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid Alabama fan. Above all else, he was a very proud and devoted Pawpaw.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his father, Ellis Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Regina Shell Anderson; sons, Gregory Anderson (Kaci) and Matthew Anderson (Wendy); mother, Elfriede Anderson; beloved grandchildren, Nash Ellis Anderson and Ansley Marie Anderson; longtime best friend, Bobby Sasser; other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Theodore on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 12 p.m. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Tuesday, November 1, from 5-8 p.m. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sarcoma Foundation of America, P.O. Box 98160, Washington, D.C. 20090-8160.
