Mr. Frank William Nash, age 92, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017. He is preceded in death by his sister Helen Rundell. Mr. Nash served his country honorably in the United States Army Air Corp as a pilot during WWII. He was assigned to the 433rd Troop Carrier Group serving from New Guinea to Japan. He was a graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He retired after over 30 years as an Engineering Superintendent with International Paper Company. Mr. Nash was a longtime member of St. Dominic Parish, was an active member of EAA and American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He served his community as a member of the Pepper Ridge Home Owners Association. Mr. Nash is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Jeanne Wall Nash and children; David C. Nash (Aimee), Nick Matranga (Audrey), David T. Matranga (Cynthia), Marilyn M. Kearney (Jerald), Anthony J. Matranga and Julie M. Neidhardt (Don). He is also survived by his brother-in-law, Ray C. Rundell, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, March- 22, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Dominic Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Pine Crest Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home.
