Francis "Frank" Aristiede Connelly

Francis “Frank” Aristiede Connelly of Mobile, Alabama passed away unexpectedly on 3 April 2023. Frank was preceded in death by his father, Aristiede Francis Connelly, mother, Ruth Lee Lott, sister, Mary Andrea Grimes and brother John Michael Connelly. He is survived by his nephews, Larry E. Grimes Jr. and John Michael Connelly Jr., his nieces Miranda Lynn Turner and Michelle Lovitte, other relatives and many dear friends.

Frank was a graduate of McGill-Toolen high school, served as a Merchant Marine, was a longtime employee of CIBA (35 years) and later BASF, and a longtime member of both Mobile Tennis Center and Oakwood Swim and Racquet Club serving as tennis captain. A lifetime Mobile resident and avid bodyboarder, Frank loved the Alabama Gulf Coast and was in or near the surf at every opportunity.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10AM on Saturday, 13 May 2023 at Radney’s Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin St. Mobile, Alabama.
