Esta Mae Price

Esta Mae (Stapleton) Price, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Roy Price, Sr. and they shared 67 years of marriage together.

Born in Paintsville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Amanda and Hank Stapleton, and loved being a mother and homemaker.

She was a member of Fulton Road Baptist Church, and enjoyed reading, painting, baking, and having her family close to her.

Survived by her children, Roy K. Price, Jr. (Angie), Kay Price Peace, Ronald K. Price (Jennifer), Richard K. Price, Sr. (Joyce), Linda Price Cazalas (Jimmy); daughter-in-law, Deborah Price; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and her best friends, Carol Johnson, Bubba and Brenda Cazalas; her brother, Jim Stapleton; sister-in-law, Betty Stapleton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Roy K. Price, Sr.; her son, Roger Keith Price; parents; brothers; and sisters-in-law.

Visitation for Esta will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Dauphin Island Parkway, with a graveside service immediately following in Pine Crest Cemetery.
