Mr. Edward Harold Matthews, age 79, longtime resident of Saraland, AL and a current resident of Clinton, MS, passed away on Monday, July 11, 2016. He was a longtime employee of Scott Paper Company as a maintenance coordinator. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harold E. and Edna Pritchett Matthews, his wife, Carolyn and son, Thomas. He is survived by his son and his wife, David and Karen Matthews, his granddaughters, Samantha and Meagan and his brother, Bobby Joe Matthews. Visitation will be held Friday, July 15, 2016 at Oak Grove Baptist Church,, Chilton, AL from 10:00 a.m. until funeral service time of 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, Mobile, AL.
