Celebration of Life services for Earline Julia Presley Moody, 93, will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, July 24, 2019, in the chapel of Pine Crest Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow on the grounds of Pine Crest Cemetery, Mobile, Alabama.
Earline Julia Presley Moody was born May 21, 1926, in Mobile, Alabama, to the late Lawrence Presley and Inez Cardwell Finch and was called to her Heavenly home 7/19/2019, in Millry, Alabama. She gave thirty years o f dedicated services to the International Paper Union. Earline enjoyed working and would take a role of leadership all of her own. She always loved working in her yard to maintain beautiful curb appeal. Earline was an excellent cook; a very classic southern housewife out of the 40’s, always working hard to maintain her household and care for her family. The Mayor even named Earline Moody Day for a single holiday because she was such a dedicated employee, always working never to miss a holiday etc.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Inez Cardwell Finch, Frank Finch, one daughter, Joanne Moody McShae, one sister; Poley Christie and one brother; Orie Presley.
Left to cherish such beautiful memories of Earline will be one daughter; Jane Gorum and husband Byron, one brother; Jack Presley, six grandchildren: Mike Gorum and wife Jennifer, Katherine Brown and husband Troy, David Gorum and wife Robin, Nicholas Gorum and wife Aubrey, Sean Lefeaux and wife Terry, Marcus Lefeaux and wife Christine, eighteen great-grandchildren: Kendall Gorum, Gavin Gorum, Abigail Grace Gorum, Ryan Gorum, Riley Gorum, Alex Gorum, Cayden Gorum, Addison Gorum, Whitten Gorum, Chase Lefeaux, Skylar Lefeaux, Kaylynn Lefeaux, Hunter Lefeaux, Madison Lefeaux, Adam Jones, Dan Jones, Kathryn Jones, Robin Jones Walters, many extended family members and a host of wonderful friends.
