Dorothy Gwendolyn Jackson Mason

Dorothy Gwendolyn Jackson Mason – an 83 year-old lifelong resident of Mobile passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014. She was a graduate of Murphy High School, a charter member of Cottage Hill Baptist Church, and a current member of Government Street Baptist Church.

Mrs. Mason was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Alton L. Mason. She is survived by her children, Sharon Mason French (Archie) and Mark Alton Mason (Sheila); grandchildren, Shannon Christine Mason, Michael Alton Mason ( Ericka), Jessica Rene French, and Faith Nicole Brewer; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12 noon until the service hour. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the American Heart Association.
