Mr. Donald Wayne Moody, age 68, left this mortal coil on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 to join the Lord in Heaven. Preceding him on his eternal journey are his parents and two sisters, Henry Oliver and Rosie Lee Simons Moody, Shirley Jo (Moody) Padgett and Betty Jean (Moody) Enzor. Don is survived by his brothers, Henry Wendell Moody of Newnan, GA and Dennis Lane Moody, of Diamondhead, MS, son, Jeremy Foll of Indiana and estranged daughter, Kimberly Moody. He is also survived by his four grandchildren; Logan, Hunter, Landen, Bentley Foll and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many wonderful friends. Don was a graduate of Shaw High School in 1968 and entered the U.S. Marine Corps serving from 1970-71. Because of his musical talents, he was selected to be a member of the Marine Drum and Bugle Corps. He played in many parades and events, and was honored to play taps for 197 military funerals most of which were services of casualties of the Vietnam War. Once out of the Corps, Don attended Faulkner State Jr. College and earned his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. He was owner/operator of Bojangles Bar and Eatery in Mobile and was an avid Alabama football fan. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Sunday, January 27, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at the Alabama State Veterans Cemetery, Spanish Fort, AL.
