Dennis Edward Christian

Dennis Edward Christian - born on August 3, 1939, in George County, Mississippi, passed away July 23, 2013, peacefully at his residence in Tanner Williams, Alabama, surrounded by his family. Mr. Christian was the owner of Christian Truck Service and a long-time member of Palestine Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his Mother, Irene Christian, and his Father, Shirley Christian, both of George County, Mississippi. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Madeline Christian, and his daughters; Shannon Leon (Mark), Dennise Bunch (Jeff), and Melinda Leon (Matt). He is also survived by his grandchildren; Drew Leon, Parker Leon, Loren Leon, Hunter Bunch, Cassady Leon, and Caydee Leon, his sisters; Shirley Ann Davis and Virginia Tolbert (Bud), one sister-in-law Jeanette Christian, and one brother Terrill Christian, nieces, nephews, and many friends. Mr. Christian had three devoted caregivers to whom the family would like to thank for their wonderful care; Joey Powell, Steven Roman, and Emma Finch.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home in Mobile, Alabama. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at Palestine Baptist Church. Interment will follow at the Palestine Church Cemetery.
