Connie Dixon Dixon Robinson

C B Connie Dixon Robinson, a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away on Tuesday, October 4, 2016. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edwin Robinson; son, Gary Edwin Robinson; parents, Clayton Fred Dixon and Bertha Beatrice Burk Dixon and brother, Norman Ray Dixon. Mrs. Robinson was a longtime member of Sage Avenue Baptist Church and was a graduate of Murphy High School Class of 1947. Her happiest times were spent with grandchildren. She was a talented quilter and doll maker. Mrs. Robinson is survived by her daughters; Sandra Robinson Parker (Steve) and Janice Robinson Woodham (Trenny). She is also survived by her grandchildren; Zachary Brining (Rebecca), Erin Hammond (Jimmy), Adam Brining (Nubia), Kyle Adrian Woodham, Baret Melton (Nick); her sisters, QB Radcliff, Billie Ruth White, Bonnie McLaughlin, sister-in-law, Andrea Nichols and great-grandchildren; Eva, Camille and Rosalie Brining, Elias and Nora Davis Hammond and Penelope Melton. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Valhalla Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Hands and Feet Ministries, P. O. Box 81205, Mobile, AL 36689 www.handsandfeetinc.org.
