Connie Hathcock, 66, died January 8, 2024. She lived most of her life in Mobile, Alabama, and for a short time in North Carolina. She was born on September 1, 1957 in Union, Mississippi and attended the University of Mobile. She served the Lord in the Asian Youth Ministry of the International Baptist Church, helping bring the Word of God and a warm meal to Asian youth and helped as a Sunday school teacher. She enjoyed spending time with family, going on road trips, listening to Christian music, and being an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. Above all, she loved the Lord and her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Thelma Thomas and her sister, Dorsey Tayler. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Douglas Hathcock and her son, Jameson (Surgey) Hathcock and her two step-grandchildren, Michelle and Salome. Also survived by other relatives, family and friends.
Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home - Mobile on Thursday, January 11, 2024 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Interment will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 in Carolina Memorial Park Cemetery in Kannapolis, North Carolina.
