Clyde G. Wallace – a 75 year-old native of Clearwater, FL and a longtime resident of Mobile passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012. Mr. Wallace retired from the Mobile Fire Department after 30 years of devoted service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Wallace loved life, enjoyed traveling, and was first and foremost a family man. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Clyde and Gay Moreland Wallace. Mr. Wallace is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Betty Pierce Wallace; son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Delila Wallace; brother and sister-in-law, James and Louise Wallace; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Graveside services will be held in Allentown Cemetery on Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street from 10 a.m. until 12 noon.
