Doyle is survived by his children, Charles Weekley, Jr., Deborah Weekley Gunn (Brad), and Chris Weekley (Shawna) and his grandchildren Daniel Gunn and MaiLin, AnnaLi and Adrian Weekley; sisters Hazel LaPierre, Elaine Barnes, and June Weigt; and his many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Carole, and his mother, Elsie Roley Weekley, and father, Herman Henry Weekley.
Doyle was born on January 17th, 1938 in Perdido, AL to Herman and Elsie Weekley. He graduated from Baldwin County High School in 1956 and Auburn University in 1962. He married his beloved wife, Carole, on May 17, 1963. He worked as a car salesman and then for many years as a salesman for Armour Food Company. He was a people person and was a gentle and kind-hearted man who loved his family well. He also loved his church families at Cottage Hill Baptist Church and then at Luke 4:18 Fellowship. He was an usher for many years and then later served as a Deacon. He helped with ministries such as Meals on Wheels and later as a driver for the Red Cross. He was a great example to us in living out what Jesus said is the most important thing--to love God and to love people.
A visitation is scheduled for 9am on Thursday, July 27, 2023 with a service following at 10am at Luke 4:18 Fellowship in Mobile. Pastor Randy Presley will officiate.
