Mr. Charles King Pickett

Charles King Pickett, a lifelong resident of Mobile, died on Thursday, March 4, after a 4-month battle following a stroke. He is survived by his children, Taylor King Pickett (Laura) and Eliska Pickett Morgan (Scott); one brother, Smith Davenport Pickett, Jr.; and seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Riley Pickett, Hannah Taylor Pickett, Adalee Katherine Pickett, Smith King Pickett, William Alister Roe, Helen Taylor Roe, and Michael Scott Morgan, Jr. A memorial service will be held at noon on Monday, March 8, 2010 at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, with visitation two hours prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Port City Pacers or the American Heart Association.
