Charles D. Murphy

Charles Murphy came into this world on December 13, 1956 and departed its shores on April 28, 2023 in the company of his family. Charles was a true Mobilian. He spent most of his life advocating for individuals with special needs. He medically retired from the United States Postal Service after twenty years as an Automation Clerk.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Billie T. and Lottie Murphy, his brother, Kenny Murphy and his sister, Marsha Murphy. He is survived by his spouse, Kenyan Boudreaux, daughter Marissa Murphy, son, Todd and Jackie Murphy of Monroe, LA and granddaughter Tallulah Murphy. He is also survived by his former spouse Melanie Murphy, sister, Rosie and Eddy Murphy of Vicksburg, MS, four cats, Menew, Noxie, Jackson, Mae and a multitude of family.

The calm and passionate energy of Charles has re-entered the Universe.

A memorial celebration of Charles will be held at Pine Crest Funeral Home, 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy., Mobile, AL on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
