Charles Daniel Goodrich, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 29, 2024 in Mobile, Alabama. Charles was born to Lester Charles Goodrich and Vassar Vermel Walker on January 30, 1944 in Mobile, Alabama. He graduated from Vigor High School, Class of 1962. Charles was a carpenter, and a member of the carpenters’ union. He was an avid sports fan – mostly Alabama Football and the Atlanta Braves. Charles was a hamburger and ice cream enthusiast, and for a while ate both every day. He loved his family, and will be missed.
Charles was preceded in death by his father, Lester Charles Goodrich; mother, Vassar Vermeil Walker; sister, Anita Mulherin; and brother, James Goodrich.
He is survived by his son, Charles “Chuck” (Dori) Goodrich; daughters, Kimberly (Tony) Caminiti and Tracy Goodrich; grandchildren, Dylan (Christen) Goodrich, Cameron Goodrich, Landon Goodrich, Blake Caminiti, Alexis (Lisandro) Velasco, and Josh Caminiti; great-grandchildren, Sawyer, Adilyn, Aspyn, Arabella, Vinny, and Valeria; sister, Madonna Green (Ronald); as well as nieces, nephews, and other cherished family and friends.
