Agnes Cecilia Sanchez Thompson, affectionately as Cile was 93 years old, passed away at her home in Chickasaw, Alabama. She was raised in Whistler, Alabama and was a member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church. A lifelong resident of Chickasaw, Alabama and St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church. Cile was a loving wife to her husband of 66 years and a nurturing mother to their three children and grandsons.
Cile was truly a woman of faith and depended on her love for God and her church to help guide her through life and nurture those she loved. She was a kind hearted woman who was admired for her deep faith and strength and love for the Rosary.
She is preceded in death by her parents John B Sanchez and Katherine Elvira Oswald Sanchez of British Honduras. John B Sanchez, Jr., Mary Agnes Sanchez, Beatrice Sanchez Dumas, Thomas H Sanchez, Robert Anthony Sanchez, Charles Richard Sanchez, Edward John Sanchez, Lucille Sanchez, Margaret Mary Sanchez Strong, Louise Oline Sanchez and Frances Elizabeth Sanchez. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Mae Sanchez. Three children Sylvia S. Thompson, Jame E (Eddie) Thompson and Theresa M. Thompson. Along with her loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews relatives and friends.
The service and Celebration of Life will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Chickasaw, Alabama on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 11:00am. Rosary will he held at 9:30am with visitation from 10:00am until time of Mass at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Catholic Cemetery.
