Mrs. Cathy Mayo Burden, age 69, passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gaillard Marshall Burden and parents, W. T. and Erin Durden Mayo. Mrs. Burden was employed with Mobile County for over twenty years. She was a member of Ashland Place United Methodist Church. Mrs. Burden is survived by her daughters, Erin Burden Diemert and Virginia Burden Mathers. She is also survived by her three granddaughters; Leigh Diemert, Heather Chastain (Christian), Carlin Diemert and other family and friends. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 23, 2017 at Ashland Place United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery.
