Mrs. Caroline Stone “Mimi” Brooks – a native and lifelong resident of Mobile, AL died Friday, October 1, 2010 at her residence. Mrs. Brooks retired from the Mobile Public Library. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul S. “Pop” Brooks. She is survived by three children, Karen (Richard) Brown, Clinton (Patricia) Brooks and Linda (Shane) Nolen; two sisters, Audrey Addicks and Eleanor Kuffskie; eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. Visitation will be from 5 P.M. until 8 P.M. on Monday, October 4, 2010 at Mobile Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with the Rosary at 5 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. on Tuesday, October 5, 2010 from St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mobile Memorial Gardens.
