Carol was the daughter of the late Freeman Thomas Robison and the late Syble Parden Robison. She was preceded in death by her sister, Gwendolyn Jaudine Robison Schellinger. She is survived by her nephew, Thomas Lawrence Schellinger and his wife Jeanie Grace Schellinger, her great nephews, Thomas Lawrence Schellinger Jr. and Eron Anthony Schellinger, and her great great nephew, Brigham Augustine Schellinger and his wife Mindy Jones Schellinger, as well as large contingent of relatives and friends.
Many people as well as several dogs were nourished, vitalized, and entertained by her attentive caregiving, and loving spirit. Carol was known as someone who would give you the shirt off her back and a lecture about why you needed it. Her dogs were spoiled and undisciplined.
She graduated from Baker High School in 1962 and spent 32 years working for the State of Alabama Unified Court System. After her retirement, she pursued activities that she loved, including working with children at a daycare, gardening and putting up vegetables, participating in her church, raising chickens and giving away eggs, in addition to taking care of her friends and loved ones.
Carol was an accomplished seamstress and cook. She made, repaired and improved many pieces of clothing for her friends and family over the years while asking nothing in return. She also prepared dinner for her family everyday until her illness made it impossible and for a short time catered events with her sister.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 15, 2025 for visitation between the hours of 10 a.m. and 12 p.m., at Luke 4:18 Fellowship, 2664 Sollie Road, Mobile, Alabama. To be followed by a funeral service at the church and a graveside service at 1:00 p.m., at Springhill Memorial Gardens, 626 Pierce Rd., Mobile, Alabama.
Condolences may be offered at radneyfuneralhome-mobile.com. In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
