Brenda Logan Deming was called home to be with her Mother Olean, Father Joseph Jr., and brother Joseph III on March 1st, 2021. She was a lifelong Mobile, AL native spending the vast majority of her 58 years of life in the Alabama town. She had made her own personal oasis in her home in what she had dubbed “Brendaville”. The ocean though always called her name as she would take to the cruise boats to see the beautiful locations this world has to offer. She made sure she had a travel partner and Steven Myers, her stepfather and best friend, gladly filled that role as those were memories they could share together.
She attended Calgary Chapel as her church home. While small in number, it made the biggest impact on her spiritual life.
She is survived by her two adult children Brittany Logan Deming and Frank Cammack Deming II. Also, her two dog children and her squirrel child Rocky, her stepfather Steven Myers, and two brothers Dennis Logan and Clifford Logan. She was an animal enthusiast and anyone who ever spoke her knew about her love of her human children and animal children. Though she may have had different words to describe all her children, she loved them all immensely.
As the eternal caregiver she was she picked the occupation that would allow her to do just that as she was a Nurse at Crowne Healthcare. Always the positive influence on her work Brenda never missed a day with residents and other staff. She would light up any room that she would enter. She would break the monotony of endless questions by getting to know all her residents at a very personal level. She would tell stories of the interesting people that came through her doors. Whether they were former NASCAR drivers, Tv stars, or service people everyone held a special place in her heart.
Her celebration of life will be this Friday, March 5th, 2021 with a visitation starting at 9:30am at Radney Funeral Home on 355 Dauphin St. Mobile, AL. Her service will begin at 11:00am and then there will be a processional to her graveside at Springhill Memorial gardens. Please send any flowers to Radney Funeral Home.
