Bob was a native Mobilian. He joined the navy as a young man and served in the Korean War. He owned McEachern photography for many years. He worked for Schulmberger and after moving to Foley worked for Gulf publishing company. Bob was an avid golfer until he had a stroke which took him away from golf but still enjoyed watching it on tv and going to the golf course and helping Jo with her golf. Bob was a good natured man that we all loved and will be missed.
Bob is survived by his wife, Jennifer Jo Smith; a son, Jay Harvey Smith (Freda) a daughter, Suzanne Beavers (Gatha); his sister, Betty Smith Cassidy; eight grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial visitation for Bobby will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Radney Funeral Home-Mobile, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, AL 36606, followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bob's memory, may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the American Cancer Society or a Charity of one's choice.
