Betty Ruth Wilson, age 89, of Mobile, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Chelton Finch Wilson; two sons, Hugh (Denese) Wilson and David (Pamela) Wilson; a sister, Ann Glover; five grandchildren, Daniel (Nicolai) Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Ashley (Braeden) Root, Leah Wilson, and Amanda (Steven) Gray; and two great-grandchildren, Owen Root and Zoe Wilson. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, William Stanley Pringle and Ruth Lee Freeland Pringle Tunstall. Mrs. Wilson attended Barton Academy as a child and graduated from Murphy High School Class of 1944. She worked for the GM&O Railroad. The family will receive friends Friday, January 20, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Radney Funeral Home, Mobile. The funeral service will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
