I knew Betty because her husband Sonny is a best longterm friend of mine.  Sonny and I met when we were both single young adults and lived close by on Church street in Mobile.  We both moved away and did not have contact again until over 20 years after we were both married and had children.  That was when I met his wife Betty who was a most gracious hostess, pleasant, and kind person.  I visited them over the years and we always had a great time together with lots of storytelling and laughter.  She and Sonny were very close and showed the utmost love and respect for each other.  They were one in the Lord.

She will be missed so much in this life.  I know how much it hurts Sonny for the loss of the love of his life.  Praise be to God that they both loved Jesus  and this is not the end.  A beautiful time is ahead for them in the wonderful Kingdom of God where there will be lots of joy and praise to the King of kings, Jesus, who makes it all possible.  And, we will laugh again too.  Rest in the Lord, dear Betty, until we meet again.
