Mrs. Robbins graduated from Ellisville High School in Ellisville, Mississippi and 20th Century Business College in Mobile. She was a long time member of First Baptist Tillman's Corner. Mrs. Robbins was formerly employed as a secretary for U.S. Customs. She volunteered with Providence Hospital's Auxiliary "Senior Spirit" and enjoyed traveling with Bridges to the World.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Forrest Dale Robbins; her parents, Maceo Hembree and Mattie Mae Smith Hembree; one sister, Dorothy M. Cobb; and four brothers, Royce M. Hembree, Paul W. Hembree, Silas D. Hembree and Thomas P. Hembree.
Survivors include her son, Michael D. (Sharon) Robbins; her beloved soul mate, Bill Carl; one sister, Patricia Ann Lambert; two brothers, John R. Hembree and Walter D. (Diane) Hembree; two grandchildren, Jason M. (Lauren) Robbins and Teresa Lynn Robbins Williams; four great-grandchildren, Triston Everett, Sarah Robbins, Claire Robbins, and Isabella Williams; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Saturday, February 25, 2012, at 12 Noon. Visitation will be Friday, February 24, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
