Betty Jean (B.J.) Pierce Jenkins, 78, and a native of Mobile, AL. passed away Tuesday at a local hospital. She was a Charter Member of the Insurance Professionals of Mobile for 64 years. She served 15 years as a softball coach for Semmes Girls Softball Association. Mrs Jenkins was preceded in death by her parents: Fritz and Lonie Pierce, two brothers: Fritz Patrick and James (Jimmie) Pierce. She is survived by her two children: Gail Ann and Mark Jenkins, one sister Sandra Ann Loden and one brother Kenneth Wayne (Gloria) Pierce as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday May 1, 2015 from noon to 2:00 p.m. and funeral services at 2:00 from the Chapel at Pine Crest Funeral Home. Burial will follow the chapel service at Pine Crest Cemetery.Arrangements under the direction of Pine Crest Funeral Home, Mobile, Alabama.
