Betty Giddens Dumas

Mrs. Dumas was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Dreaper “Freddie” Dumas; parents, John Cecil Giddens, Sr. and Ruby Carolyn Shires Giddens; and brother, Robert Lynn Giddens. She is survived by her daughter, Victoria Turner (Paul); grandchildren, Keith Turner and Danielle Turner Altmyer; great-granddaughter, Turner Caroline Altmyer; sister, Jackie Giddens Nelson; brother, John Cecil Giddens, Jr. (Peggy); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Radney Funeral Home on Dauphin Street on Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the service hour.
