Cobb, Betty Jo “BJ” (Brown), age 84, formerly of Mobile, AL passed away Saturday, April 5, 2025. She was a graduate of Murphy High School and active member of the Catholic church as a Eucharistic Minister.
BJ’s talents were many. She loved crafts and created many cross-stich and paintings shared across the family. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband Buren J. “Pete” Cobb Jr., her parents William M. and Inez E. Brown, her brothers Fredrick “Ted” and William “Ronnie” Brown. She is survived by her son Buren J “Pete” Cobb III and his wife Michelle, grandchildren Christian, Peyton and Bailey Cobb.
Funeral services will be held at 11am Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church 906 Garrity St. Mobile, AL with Father Justin Isaac. Burial at Pine Crest Cemetery.
