Betty Runyan Cherry

Betty is survived by her husband of 71 years, John A. Cherry; children, David Cherry (Crysti), Dawn Lursen (Joseph), and Dennis Cherry; brother, Ray Bass Runyan (Ellen); six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Betty was preceded in death by her father, Wyatt Theron Runyan; mother, Eurelia Bass Runyan; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Cherry; sisters, Mary Henderson and Katherine Crocker; and brother-in-law, Jessie "Buck" Crocker;.

A visitation for Betty will be held Thursday, September 10, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Radney Funeral Home, 3155 Dauphin Street, Mobile, Alabama 36606. A visitation will occur Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home, 1750 Ashville Rd, Leeds, Alabama 35094. A celebration of life will occur Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, 1591 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, Alabama 35235.
