Alvin Curtis Lassiter

He served his Country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War where he spent time both in South Korea and Japan. He retired from U. J. Chevrolet in Mobile where he was employed for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents John (Sallie) Lassiter, stepmother Inez Lassiter, wife Brenda Lassiter. Sisters, Marge (Leotis) Baggett, Turk (William) Baggett, Anne (Lawrence) Raines. and niece Judy Baggett.

He is survived by his children, Alan (Suzanne) Lassiter, Pam (Mark) Walton, Angela (Craig) Cates, John Sean Lassiter, Ashley Lassiter & her partner Cheyenne Bobo. Stepson David Rogers Jr. Sisters Lois (Thomas) Baggett, Carolyn (Lewis) Fazenbaker, and nieces who were like sisters to him Gaye (Bob) Evans and Gayle (Tommy) Weaver.

He was “Big Daddy” to his Grandchildren: Chris (Corrine) Jones, Emily Lassiter, Zachary Lassiter, Carston Cates, Conner Cates, Colton Cates. Derek Rogers, Dylan Rogers and Great-grandchildren; Michael Jones and Grace Jones.

Visitation will be at Pine Crest Funeral Home on Friday May 5th, 2023, from 9:00 to 11:00 am with Service in the Chapel at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Pine Crest Cemetery located at 1939 Dauphin Island Pkwy, Mobile, AL 36605.
