Born on February 7, 1943, in Jellico, Tennessee, Shirley's journey led her to Redford Township, Michigan, at the tender age of 9, before bravely venturing to California at 17. It was there that she encountered the love of her life, Michael Milne, with whom she shared countless cherished moments.
Shirley had a passion for sports, particularly USC football, and her unwavering loyalty to her favorite teams was matched only by her dedication to her family. Known for her exceptional organizational skills and reliability, she was a pillar of strength for those around her. Yet, beneath her steadfast exterior, she carried the weight of worry, a testament to her boundless love and concern for her loved ones.
A patriot through and through, Shirley's love for her country was evident in everything she did. However, her greatest devotion was reserved for her children and grandchildren, for whom she would move mountains and sacrifice anything without hesitation.
Shirley's presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her kindness, selflessness, and unconditional love have left an indelible mark on the hearts of those she leaves behind. Though she may no longer be with us, her legacy of love and devotion will endure forever.
