Our condolences to the family on the death of a very special aunt, Ninfa Verdin Nik who was born in Robstown, TX to Jose and Micaela Verdin.  She was a very special, loving and caring aunt.  Aunt Ninfa was a person with many special talents. Although we hadn't seen much of the family and her, she was always in our hearts.  The last time we saw her was at our daughter's wedding in My. Pleasant.  She will continue to be in our hearts.

I worked with Ninfa at TWU for many years and have really missed her since she retired. She had a kind and gentle spirit, and I’ll treasure our many talks on the 9th floor and going out to lunch. My deep sympathies to the family, to which she was devoted.

I am so very sorry to learn of Ninfa's passing.  She was a dear friend to me at TWU, and I have missed her greatly since she left the university and moved away.  I loved our chats and her wonderful soul.  I extend my deep condolences to her family.  I will always remember her as a gentle, caring, thoughtful, generous, astute, and stylish lady.   May she rest in peace and love. 

Dr. Nik was a beloved Professor of Spanish and French at Texas Woman's University, where I came to know her.  Her kind and gentle spirit is missed.  My deepest condolences to her family members.  May good memories help sustain you.
