Clifton 'Ralph' Singletary, 64, of Mission Viejo CA, went home to his Lord and Savior on April 21, 2016 after a 7 year journey with metastatic cancer. Ralph was born on 8-6-51 to a Navy family and moved frequently as a child. After serving proudly in the US Army for 10 years he settled in Mission Viejo CA and was known to say that he would move anywhere his wife wanted, as long as it was in the Mission Viejo zip code of 92691.
He graduated from Many HS in 1969, then University of Phoenix with a Bachelors in Business Management in 2003.
Ralph was blessed with many close friends that included Army buddies from tours in Panama, Germany and US bases, business associates from the Radio Electronics industry over a 20 year span, Financial Planning associates from 10 years of service and several friends that became his CA family.
He was a devoted servant of the Lord at Presbyterian Church of the Master (PCOM), where he served as a Deacon for 2 terms and an Elder for one term. Mostly he will be remembered for being the face at the main door of the 9am service, faithfully handing out bulletins, hugs, smiles and encouragement to all who entered, every week, for over 15 years
He passed at home, in his own bed, with his wife by his side, in death as in life.
He is survived by his wife Lauren, sisters Donna Lewing and Karen Hollandsworth, brother Keith Singletary, daughters Tracie Singletary and Kelli Sanders, 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held for Ralph at Presbyterian Church of the Master, 26051 Marguerite Pkwy, Mission Viejo, CA 92692, Saturday 5-14-2016 commencing at 1pm.
