Salvador J. Ortiz

Salvador is preceded in death by his father, Salvador Ortiz; son, Roman Ortiz and grandson, Rudy Ortiz.

Mr. Ortiz is survived by his loving wife, Gloria E. Ortiz; children, Maria Luisa (Rudy) Garcia, Juan Jose (Celia) Ortiz, Javier (Audelia) Ortiz, Cesar (Delfina Yvonne) Ortiz Sr., Sandra Ruiz, Salvador (Chayo) Ortiz II, Jose Reynaldo (Maggie) Ortiz Sr., Hermelinda Ortiz, Veronica (Pilo) Gomez , Sofia (David) Hernandez, Carina (Armando) Arellano. He is also survived by his 34 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, Aurelio Ortiz, Pedro and Alfredo Carrillo; 3 sisters, Estella Cantu, Guadalupe Castañeda, Juanita Cavazos; stepfather, Jose Isabel Carrillo; mother, Hermelinda Juarez- Carrillo.

Visitation will be held today, July 22, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission. Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at 11 a.m. at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Alton. Interment will follow to Garden of Angels Cemetery in Abram. Having the distinguished honor of serving as pallbearers will be: Salvador Ortiz III, Cesar Ortiz Jr., Steve Ortiz, Albert Hernandez, Kevin Fuentes, Jose Reynaldo Ortiz Jr., Marcelino Ortiz, Alejandro Perez Jr.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria Del Angel in Mission, a Dignity Memorial Provider.
