I wish I would have known that you needed a friend.
That you felt all alone and like your struggles wouldn’t end.
I can see how you might think that I wouldn’t understand 
All I know is, had I known, I would have lent a hand. 
I would have lent an ear. I would have made the time. 
To keep a friend, to save your life, these things I wouldn’t mind. 
Today I pray that our creator would hold you in his arms
I pray for your family and your friends and for all healing in their hearts
May pain be forgotten and love help to heal.

Rudy, I am very saddened to hear about your passing. It is so unexpected and I feel a huge part of me is missing. Rudy was such a dear friend to me. I’ll aways remember the wonderful times we had together. What I loved most about Rudy was his commitment to his work and family. His greatest treasure was his beautiful, kind daughter Yaretzy. I immediately fell in love with her as well. You taught her her to be a caring and giving individual, just like you I admired their close-knit bond and his devotion to her. He dedicated his life in caring and serving others as a nurse. He touched many lives and will be remembered forever! I'll keep your entire family in prayer as they loved you and will miss you so much just I will! Love you and Rest In Peace dear Rudy Medina! Until we meet again, I'll be missing you!

Rudy was a soft, gentle, loving soul. I will always remember his unique laugh. We spent many times cheering on our beloved Dallas Cowboys together. He would always make us laugh when he would say he had a better arm than Tony Romo and that he coached better than any cowboys coach! Lol. We grew up right accross eachother. Our grandmothers were lifetime neighbors to eachother. As kids he would come over and play basketball or street football. We rode our bikes together and he even let me sit on the handle bars once taking me on a memorable extreame bmx jumping experience. Unfortunately time saw both of us go on our separate ways as life usually does but I would be reunited with him many years later when fate had me marry his cousin Debbie. We quickly started to share memories of our childhood and it almost seemed that we were kids once again. Thank you Rudy for the many smiles, the laughs, but most importantly thank you for being the caring person you always were. The sweet gentle giant that was you. You were there for my grandmother Argelia when I couldn't be and for that I will always be greatful. Even up until your departure from us you asked her to call on you if she ever needed you. Thank you for always being the considerate person you were Rudy.

My fondest memories were when we were kids. Rudy would come over and play basketball with my brothers or "play fight" like if they were the ninja turtles.  Every time we would pass each other in the halls in high school he would say "Hi Cous"! As one grows older some drift apart but always  there for each other when called upon.  Wish I knew..... I will always have you in my heart Rudy and you will be missed dearly. Love you Cous.

I just want to give my condolences to the family 💗 Rudy was an amazing, kind & loving human being. He will ALWAYS be remembered by all that knew him.  I feel blessed to have met him & work with him.  He always checked up on me & my son & for that I will ALWAYS be grateful 💗
