Porfirio Rodriguez

MCALLEN- Porfirio Rodriguez 82, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 6, 2015 in McAllen.

Porfirio was a beloved husband, father and grandfather who loved fishing. He was a long time resident of McAllen and will be greatly missed.

He is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Ernesto Trevino.

He is survived by his loving wife, Antonia Rodriguez; his children, Griselda R. Trevino, Hermelinda (Gaston) Trevino, Porfirio (Anna) Rodriguez, Sandra Rodriguez, Oscar Rodriguez and Leonor (Thomas) De Los Santos. He is also survived by his sister, Maria De Los Santos Gonzalez and 13 grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 1-9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. rosary today, Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Funeraria del Angel in Mission. Funeral service will be Monday, August 10, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in McAllen. Interment will follow to Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Funeraria del Angel in Mission, a dignity memorial provider, 3611 N. Taylor Rd. in Mission.
