Paulino Bernal Jr. passed away at the age of 62 on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at Doctor’s Hospital at Renaissance. He was born November 17,1959 in Kingsville, Texas and was raised in McAllen, TX where he lived all of his life. At the young age of 12, Paulino Jr. and his mother invited Jesus Christ to be the Lord and Savior of their lives, and since then he dedicated his life to spreading the good news of Jesus Christ through music and preaching throughout the United States of America and Mexico. He will undoubtedly be greatly missed and forever in the hearts of his family, friends and the hundreds of thousands of brothers and sisters in Christ that joined him in his mission.
He is preceded in death by his son, Roland Emmanuel Bernal; and his father, Paulino Deanda Bernal. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Elizabeth “Liz”Ann Bernal; his children, Paulino Bernal IV, Celina (Tait Faulk) Bernal, Cydia Bernal, and Robert (Destiny) Bernal; 3 grandchildren, Aiden Sebastian Dillard, Micah Emmanuel Bernal, and Delilah Rose Bernal; his mother Mary Bernal; and his siblings Linda (Jay) Villarreal, Eloy (Annette) Bernal, Sonia (DJ) Villarreal, Carilu (Chris) Bernal-Polvado, and Yesenia (Josue) Bernal-Saravia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Public Visitation will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Valley Worship Center in McAllen, TX from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. at Valley Worship Center with a Dismissal and Procession to the cemetery at 10:30 a.m. The Burial will be held
at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission, TX.
Pallbearers will be Paulino Bernal IV, Robert Bernal, Bill Plath, Jesse Ozuna, Jesse Ledezma, Art De Hoyos, Humberto Lopez and Art Mendoza. Funeral arrangements are being directed by Del Angel Funeral Home of Mission, TX.
Paulino Bernal Jr. will be greatly missed by numerous family and friends.
