She was preceded in death by her parents Olegario and Josefina Peña; her daughter Marisela Salinas Peña; her great-grandson Daniel Rick Cuellar; her brother Olegario Peña and her sister Olga P. Bernal.
She is survived by her husband of 72 years Salvador Salinas; his children Salvador Salinas Jr., Blanca(Freddy) N. Escamilla, Jose L. Salinas, Lucy(Fidencio) Maldonado, Maribel(Roy) Beliz, Alma(Frank) Escamilla, Anabel(Juan) Ayala and Jorge J. Salinas; his grandchildren Alex, David, Aldo, Alvan, Jorge, Ricardo and Fermin; 13 great-grandchildren; and by her sisters Orfelinda P. Rivas Olivia P. Maroquin, Oralia P. Gonzalez and Amparo P. Treviño.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a service at 5:00 pm. Graveside service will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025 at 1pm at Valley Memorial Garden Cemetery in Mission.
