Mission – Maria Elena Garza, 72, went to be with the Lord on September 28, 2017 at Briarcliff Nursing Home in McAllen.
She is preceded in death by her parents Gabino and Julia Torres; her husband Jose Hector Garza and by her baby brother Jorge Alberto Garza.
She is survived by her loving children Maria Del Carmen Garza Bussey(Eddie), Maribel Garza Leal(Hector), Jose Hector Garza Jr.(Veronica) and Juan Carlos Garza(Milagros); 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and by her sister Emalydia Gonzalez.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Funeraria Del Angel, Chapel of Serenity in Mission from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, October 2, 2017 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Mission at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mission. Arrangements under the direction of Funeraria Del Angel, Mission, TX.
