M. SOLIDEA PEREZ Our beloved mother, M. Solidea Perez, 88 went home to be with The Lord on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at McAllen Medical Center with family and friends at her side. She is preceded in death by her husband, Francisco Perez, Sr., her parents Juan and Bartola Anzaldua, a granddaughter, Jessica Lizette Salinas and a great grandson, Angel Martinez. Survivors include her children Arnulfo (Lina) Perez of Holland MI; Estella (Guillermo) Gonzalez of Edinburg; Elizabeth (Delfino) Barrera of Pharr; Pablo Perez; Ricardo (Gloria) Perez of Holland, MI, Francisco (Darlene) Perez, Jr. of Houston; Veronica (Rudy) Garza of McAllen; 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. We are left to cherish in our hearts a wealth of fond memories as she inspired us with her strength, her positive attitude and perseverance in life. She was a dedicated mother, submissive wife, a loving grandmother and great grandmother who always instilled in our minds strong ethics and morals. Visitations will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 and Sunday, May 5, 2013 from 5-9 p.m. with a rosary to be recited both days (Sat. & Sun.) at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel, 3611 N. Taylor Rd., Mission. Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church on S. 23rd Street, McAllen. Interment will follow at Valley Memorial Gardens in Mission. Serving as pallbearers: Francisco Perez, Jr.; Frank Perez; Jacob Perez; Adrian Salinas; Frank Gonzalez; Ramiro (Ramm) Leal.
