She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jorge Manrique. Lydia is lovingly remembered by her five devoted daughters: Cynthia Chavez (Dennis), Eva Flores (Ralph), Norma Martinez, Gina Suarez (Jorge), and Maribel Manrique. She is also survived by nine adored grandchildren: Jessica, Michelle, Andres, Gabriela, Aaron, Clarissa, Jorge Jr., Diego, and Noah, as well as seven great-grandchildren.
Lydia found her greatest joy in the company of her family. Her home, affectionately known as "headquarters," was always welcoming, filled with laughter, warmth, and abundant hospitality. It was a gathering place where countless stories were shared, relationships deepened, and treasured memories created. Lydia nurtured an environment of unconditional but tough love, creating a set of lasting bonds that will span generations.
Though Lydia has left this earthly life, her legacy endures through the lives she touched and the memories that her family and friends hold dear.
