Juanita Posas Salazar

She was preceded in death by her son, Mario Salazar.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Guadalupe Salazar, her children, Lupe Salazar Jr. (Gracie), Thelma Barnhart (Eddie), Nora Marines (Joe). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 3 sisters.

“Our Loving Mother... Kept a garden, a garden of the heart. She planted all good things that gave us life. We are her garden, her legacy.”

Juanita was a member of Holy Spirit Church and devoted her life serving God. Her abundant love for her family and her example of living will always be remembered by many. She will be cherished and missed immensely by her loved ones. The family would like to thank the staff at Edinburg Nursing Center and Allstate Hospice for the medical care and kindness they rendered to her.

Visitation will be held Wednesday July 11, from 5:00 to7:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Del Angel Funeral Home in Mission, TX. Arrangements are with Del Angel Funeral Home.
