Mr. C was a good friend and the best boss ever.   I will always remember the jokes, the laughter and especially all he taught me. He will never be forgotten.

Oh gawd I just learned this and cried like a baby. He handled my cases since I was a little girl. He was the best attorney nobody could beat his humbleness. Last time I seen him & spoke to him and gave he great advice was about 3 years ago. My heart hurts 💔 You we’re the best Mr. Joe Cisneros since you had your office on 10th street on that two story building. Miss you boss 🙏🏼🤍-Ah Leyah  

We’d like to extend our sincere condolences to all the Cisneros family. 
A good and decent man, overcame obstacle after obstacle to follow his dreams. 
I do have a vivid memory, he graduated as valedictorian of his high school class, and he took time to visit with a 10 yr old cousin as he rehearsed his speech, looking back now am not surprised as to how much he accomplished in his professional life as well as with his family.

Condolences to Wife, Sons and Family of Arturo Joe Cisneros.   We both graduated from Mercedes High School and we would car pool to Pan American University in Edinburg, Texas.   All of us from Mercedes, Texas, are very proud of my friend, Arturo Cisneros.   He worked thru High School and College and got his College Diploma.  My friends who were his students at Pharr High School were proud to have him as a teacher.   Then he got his Dr. of Jurisprudence, ( Lawyer ) and then he ran and won as Judge.   Till we meet again mi Amigo,   Arturo  Joe Cisneros.    Go with God my Friend.

I was saddened to hear of my good friend’s passing.  Joe A. Cisneros was a very well respected lawyer.  He presided over the 93rd District Court of Hidalgo County where I was a Prosecutor when I first met him.  I learned the importance of courtroom decorum and about filing good pleadings in Court.  Rene and I supported him when he ran for the Senate and we remained friends until his passing.  He leaves a wonderful legacy for his boys: Artie and Mikie as we affectionately called them and for his grandchildren.  Prayers for his wonderful wife Mela.   Joe often shared the story of how they met and fell in love.  Joe had many friends who loved and respected him and will always miss him.  Rest In Peace dear Friend. Condolences to "the Cisneros family".  Graduated with Joe at Mercedes High School. Also spent time with him in the military starting with boot camp at Fort Chafee, Arkansas in the summer of '57. Heck of a football player. We are all very proud of having known him and very proud of all his accomplishments throughout his life. May He Rest In Peace.

Joe was my mentor and friend. I looked up to him. He was,and will always be an example I followed as a lawyer. His court room presence and demeanor impressed me. As a young man I wanted to be Joe Cisneros in the court room. We became very close and spoke often or I would run into him and his lovely wife at different restaurants. He called me once and said he was proud of me. As I remember the call it brings me to tears.

I had the privilege of being his lawyer once. A great compliment and honor that he was so bold as to trust in me.  Thank you Joe.

You were and still are my hero. A true War Horse of a lawyer.
