He was preceded in death by his wife Teresa Guzman; his parents Francisco and Guadalupe Guzman; and by his siblings Reynaldo and Aricela.
Israel is survived by his children Linda(Jose) Martinez, Tere Gonzalez, Rosie(Ralph) Flores, Zulma(Ernesto) Gonzalez and Yessenia(Dulce) Guzman; his grandchildren Jonathan, Jennifer, Manny, Jesse, Esmer, Rudy, Julissa, James, Joanna, Viviana and Ernesto Jr.; and by his siblings Ramon Guzman, Francisco Guzman, Maricela Guzman, Laura Guzman, Lourdes Guzman, Aurelia Guzman and Ismael Guzman.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025 at Funeraria Del Angel in Mission from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a rosary recited at 7:00 pm. Cremation services to follow.
